CÁMERA(AUTO)CONTRÔLE | Centre de la Photographie Genéve

The exhibition Caméra(Auto)Contrôle is the core of the 50JPG—50 Days for Photography in Geneva 2016. This 5th edition of this triennial takes us right into the burning issue of automated images, drones, selfies, social networks, data control and monitoring systems, through the works of more than 60 artists.
Since 2003, the Triennial 50JPG examines a very specific contemporary socio-political issue through the specific use of photography. Each event is built around a themed exhibition organised by the CPG and held at the BAC (Building for Contemporary Art). The events are supported by exhibitions proposed in over 30 cultural spaces in the Geneva area and associated with various partners classified either as IN (exploring the official issue of the 50JPG) or OFF (proposing events related to photography)
